just checking

Replacing most of my rv lights w/ residential w/ 12v bulb. I wired black or colored to black or colored wires, and whites to whites. That is correct right? I would like a second opinion before I power up. Thanks.

As a rule, white is ground, and wire with a colored stripe is positive.

That's what I thought. I heard DC can be wired differently.

In every RV that I have worked on in the last 9 years, White has been ground and tracer has been positive. I have seen different colors at the battery.
