If you have a residential fridge, it will only operate on 110VAC. You get that by either plugging into shore power or running an inverter.

The 3571 has a residential fridge. It runs off 120vac. That is supplied by either being plugged into shore power or from the batteries through the inverter if there is not shore power availability (the inverter must be turned on or it will not power the fridge). I hope you knew how it operates because IMO it pretty much limits your type of camping (roughing it) away from developed campgrounds unless you carry a generator or large solar array to power the fridge when away from hookups.

Nope. Had a terrible sales/ tour at Camping World. We upgraded fr travel trailer that switched over to propane. Assumed it did the same. I even asked if I would be taught how to use everything before buying g it. They lied.

If you didn't get a "good tour" of your new trailer, your dealership delivery was not adequate. They did you a disservice and you need to return to the dealership to get the vital information you need to operate your new RV. Doing the "trial and error indoctrination" or the "ask on the forum and hope the information is correct" are not substitutes for what the dealership "OWES" you.

While you can "muddle through and not screw up most things" you can literally destroy your battery system if you don't know how the inverter works, if you're unsure how to turn on/off your refrigerator and the inverter that powers it. As an example, discharging your battery bank below 50% can permanently damage the batteries. Doing that a couple times can "set you up to buy new batteries next year (if not sooner)….

Get with your dealership and get what you paid for, an adequate introduction to your new trailer and how to operate it.

Study up on that fridge before taking off on a trip and understand its limitations before you lose a lot of food. If you have specific questions fire away.

I bought this one knowing that we only camp in improved campgrounds anymore.....and did so very reluctantly. The convenience of the LP/DC fridge is very nice but they do have their drawbacks too. Fortunately with them you can just power up take off, plug/unplug etc. and as long as it is set to auto and you have propane it takes care of itself. Not so with the residential.

You deserve and paid for (should have been included in the price) a full and complete demonstration on the operation of your camper. Sounds like what they did would be akin to a new car dealer tossing you a set of keys and telling you "it's yours now go figure it out."
