GY Endurance

Our 22 RBS has about 7,000 or 8,000 miles on it, including however far it is from where it was assembled to where we bought it. It came with the infamous bombs, Trailer Kings. I will not take any more chances and am having new GY Endurance 225/75/15 put on this coming Tuesday.

I have a TPMS for the trailer. Our truck has one built in.

Not sure we will be able to get too far this summer with the Covid-19 troubles. I plan to find a nice spot hidden away from view in a pasture belonging to the big farm I work for Spring and Fall. Park the trailer there for a few days here and there, if we can't get out on the road.

Hope everyone stays healthy and safe.

Ken, I believe things are going to start 'opening' up pretty soon. The economies will demand it. Probably a year before we see some semblance of normalcy, but I don't believe summer is shot.
And good call on dumping the old tires...

I had a Trailer King explode on me last June on I95, not fun. I just had my Trailer Kings replaced with Goodyear Endurance tires also and really like them. They seem a little smaller in diameter than the Trailer Kings and the tread design appears to be "flatter" so I think that road contact will be better and they will handle much better.

I just made an appointment today at Discount Tire to replace the Hartland Radial HD tires which came with my TT with Goodyear Endurance ST225/75/15. I made the decision to go with Goodyear after reading the reviews on this forum. Discount Tire also has metal valve stems in stock.

Another vote for....

Discount Tire and Goodyear Endurance tires. Cost of tires was less than damage from a China Bomb

I have been trying to pull up the details on where Hartland tires are made for the last several minutes without any success. It does appear they are made for Discount Tire. You could pull the manufacture code off the tire and cross reference it to see where they were made.

I noticed them on a new trailer yesterday but did not take a pic. Anybody here have them and the code?
