I had to smile. I still have my ‘98 black Mustang convertible, black top, with black interior. But it’s just a GT. Our kids eyeball it (so far they just want to drive it - ha!). The running joke here is that I will be buried in it.

I can relate; the number of people that have driven it, other than me, can be counted on one hand... my son is one, the DW is another... my daughter on the other hand... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... maybe after her brother inherits it...
It is a beast, puts over 400HP to the tires, finishes turns with your right foot, barks'em... hard, going into third
Enjoy your "baby"

Blackrock is a huge stone massif at the head of a canyon about 20 miles SW of me. It changes color and appearance through the day but is a dominant feature here. I call it my Totem.

Mine is what I'm good at. I do Architectural wood carving and I did Scuba diving since I was 15. (Last year my Dr said no more diving :-(. Therefore when I joined I was "carve n dive".
Now I'm carvengolf - another difficult one to figure out ;-)

To a couple on here (JRTJH) and maybe a couple others, mine is pretty simple. I spent my Air Force career at Beale AFB CA. I was a jet engine mechanic on T38’s, KC135 (Q’s) briefly, was moved to the other end of the flight line to the SR71/U2/TR1’s. Remained there until I got out. Kind of an elite deal I’m a little proud to have been part of. My military honor plates are SR71a on TV, SR71b on fiver and YF12 on my DD. Funny how even a lot of AF peeps ask what a YF12 is.

Mine really isn't that interesting. I was playing an online game with friends, many years ago before it was all the rage. I typically made all my account names with some sort of combo of my first name or last name, and because that included the letter "a", it typically worked great if someone online was trying to communicate with me. You would ask for a "list" and if I was on, i would list at the top.
Until someone realized that "brackets" would bump you ahead of letters. So in a effort to come up with a new name, I looked over at the TV and golf was on, playing at TPC. Actually it was tiger woods, so my first attempt was tpc_tiger, or something to that affect with the brackets, but it was faster and easier to type {tpc}, and that is how it started.
Eventually forums were introduced, and so you could easily recognize me in the forum, I made my forum name {tpc}.
Suffice to say, if you see a {tpc} or a tpc in a forum somewhere, it is about a 75% chance it is me. Once in awhile I run across a forum where it is taken, usually those are dead accounts anyways which is annoying, so I'll make one that includes a number of some sort after it or after a underscore. Some don't accept brackets or underscores, so that is why it is plain at times.

Our screen name is from the former name of a small body of water near my DW's familial stomping ground in Maine (it's got another name now).

I grew up very close to the Chesapeake Bay near what was then the Glenn L Martin Company and airport. There were 2 ANG wings there and I would dream that I was flying one of the F86 Saber jets that the 175th was flying over.
Fast forward to about 35 years ago I had just earned a private pilot license when we bought a new boat. With my love of flying and boating I came up with the play on words. They called pilots "flyboys" so I changed Boys to bouy and had "Flybouy" painted on the back of the boat alone with a navigational bouy that had wings on it.

I retired from the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and during my 22 years I was always called Mole as it is the first syllable of my last name.
