Congratulations!
Spent 2 winters in Florida during our 10 years fulltiming & there's lots of places I'd rather be than Florida.

We have wintered in Arizona (Bisbee area) , south Texas (Harlingen area) and finally settled on south Florida.
We almost passed on to our great reward from boredom in Arizona. Our time in Harlingen was spent eating Mexican food and visiting Progresso.
My long-winded post is to point out that different strokes for different folks is the simple answer. We loved Bisbee area for about a month. Then we knew that it just wasn’t for us. Since we aren’t golfers we found that Harlingen wasn’t for us either. I do miss enchiladas made as of someone knew how! And really good salsa!
Mainly you have to travel around until you find an RV park that is free (with a heated pool), local beers are still a dollar, gas is $1.29 per gallon and remember, the RV park assures you of none of your pet peeves! Oh, I forgot. No rain and 81 degrees every day.

Like Jim we've been to a lot of places and liked most of them.....but not for a longer period. We can do most anywhere for a couple of weeks, many places for a month but after that we start culling. So far we've found FL to give us most of what we're looking for (especially since DD and GDs are 35 miles from us). If one has spent most of their time here then I can imagine it would be neat to get out and see the other places, but....get ready for no trees, no rain, lots of barren flat land etc. depending on where you go (you might get to see all kinds of cactus - or excellent enchiladas!). Now to Jim's location: I'm thinking we need to move around the Big Bend and settle in next to him where the site is free, beer and gas is cheap and there are no pet peeves!! Have fun in your travels!

Welcome from NH. We also have a Bullet 330BH which replaced our 273BH so the grandkids had their own space.
