Voyager WiSight camera antenna kit

Installed the Voyager rear camera and the signal dropped more than I liked while driving. They recommended an antenna relocation kit. Basically a 10ft cable, mounting bracket and a longer antenna.

I can probably just screw it to the roof somewhere and cover it in dicor, but how do I secure the cable? I’m guessing just flopping around up on the roof is not ideal.

Hi there, just saw this post. We’re you able to secure the wire and did this antenna help with the dropped signal? We have the same issues.

The roof material tucks behind the rain gutter and that creates a little lip.

I put a bead of non-leveling dicor and pushed the wire into it. Shaped it with my finger so it looks decent.
It’s held up fine since I made the original post.

Thank you. And did it help with the signal strength a lot or any?

It’s better. Not 100%.
I wish I had mounted it on the left side instead of the right. Only cause the antenna on the monitor is on the left
