Hurricane damaged rvs

i’d be careful buying used rvs in the near future … this auction site has a bunch of fairly new storm damaged units..insurance totaled i guess…will have lots of electrical gremlins.

I believe these guys flip them after some repairs..they purchased a 2021 keystone sprinter limited for 12k in the auction..it was in the video posted after this one

I guess if you knew what you were getting into it may be a good project for someone to tackle and end up with a newer model..also if you need parts for your existing rv and could get something cheap it may be worth it.

Texas has it shares of salvage title vehicles including RVs and the main issue is that once an insurance company pays out and the RV has a salvage title it can be hard to find insurance; some insurance companies will issue liability only. When looking for a used RV as I have in the past you fill find the market has a lot of salvage titles and many of these units look great otherwise.

Not only would insurance be an issue, but with a salvage title I doubt you could ever trade to a dealer, they'd see that & laugh you off the lot.
I'm with Marshall, NO WAY, NO HOW!

Salvage title = hunting lease around these parts. Most shifty folks will claim lost title and when the new buyer goes to apply for the lost title they get a little surprise.

i was just hoping to give people a heads up that some too good to be true used rvs are gonna hit the market soon…ask to look at the title before you give anyone money and call your insurance company with the VIN to see if anything flags it.

Quite a few states won’t register salvage titles for road use. Buyer beware!

Good luck,
