I'm not sure how I feel about how easy this was but...

I could feel the beam in the ceiling directly in front of the light. I took measurements of where I could see the dip in the roof and went inside. It was exactly where the light was. I put my palms on both sides of the light and pushed up as hard as I could. Door clears easily now.

I'll be feeling it in my back tomorrow...

Great! Beats the heck out of cranking up the bottle jack! I'll bet it will be OK except that a long or rough trip might let it come back down depending on what was wrong and what got fixed. Mark that spot on the roof in your memory if the even you or anyone else gets up there again because it will want to come right back down.

You did what i would have done, USED MINIMUM FORCE to push it back up. Hopefully it stays put. I have a 2014 bullet premier ultra- light, the ceiling is a luan plywood sheathing. No matter what DO NOT let ANYONE put ANY weight up there. You learned the hard way but got lucky. Hope there won't be any leaks!

Trying to re-bend the truss could be a catastrophe. Can you imagine the truss coming loose from the side beam? It is the roof and it is not ponding water. Consider yourself lucky. Try not to think about it, no one will know!
