passport 245rb slider

Hi folks
since I am new to rving and I bought a used 2008 passport that had no owners manual, and I still waiting for the dealer to get me one,I would
like to Know if there is a way to close the slider manually in case there is
a problem with the electric switch.
Thank you very much for your input.

I have an attatchment that I can put on my drill to close it manually. I am not 100% sure, but you should have either that or some kind of hand crank accessory. Their is always some kinda of manual backup as far as I know.

The owners manual has been discussed here many, many times.

There is no model specific manual for any Keystone product.

The generic manual is downloadable from Keystone's website.

Manuals for the individual appliances and other products are almost always available on the manufacturer's websites.

Final note: The dealer should be able to show you how to manually operate the slide on your particular trailer without hesitation. If he can't or won't, or refers you to a generic owners manual, or tells you he is waiting to get the specific manual for your trailer (which does not exist), what does that tell you about the dealer?

MY Passport 2650BH manual override is on top of the slide in the middle. Not a whole lot of room to get to it. My TT came with the flexable attachment to put on the end of a cordless drill or a ratchet. It is about 14" long.

Same here; silver, flexible shaft tool which attaches to a power drill. The "chuck" to insert the tool into ours is located behind a trim pane overhead on the slide. It requires us popping off 2 screw covers, and removing the screws.
(I've started a list for the trailer-specific toolbox I'll keep in there)

*The cordless drill is a great idea if you don't have power jacks anyway; a 3/4" socket and a bit adapter, and you have way-fast "power" jacks! ;-)

I am debating who's worse,a used car salesman or a used rv salesman.Thank
you and definetely the specific dealer is not gonna see me again.
