Ez TV antenna question

I purchased a used Hideout 19FLB. There are 3 TV coaxial cable connections near the TV stand. I know one is for the roof antenna with amplifier. Are the other 2 for external cable from both the right and left side of the RV. I am assuming they are direct wired from the external junction.

Ez TV antenna question

More often than not, the external connection on the curb side is signal out for an external TV. The connection on the road side is park cable/ sat in.

If the single connection is on the amplifier plate, that will be for the roof antenna and park cable. If the other two are on a separate plate they are most likely in and out for sat receiver. Most modern receivers are HDMI out and I don't know if they make an HDMI to coax connector.

If you want to make sure, they make small coax continuity testers for $10 to check the connections. I used one on mine - unfortunately, I found there is no connection to the rooftop antenna, so I'm bummed, but confirmed why I don't get any reception from the rooftop antenna!

No HDMI to coax, unless you want to spend big $(HD modulator box called zeevee), but most receivers have composite yet red/white/yellow, and an old rf modulator will convert that to coax analog ant channel for about $15.

We still use an old Hughes receiver (standard def) that has coax in/out. Thanks for the information.

Thanks to you all for your input and information. I will buy a tester to better understand.
