Error Message

Hi guys, I currently have an E4 message coming up in the window where the fan/AC and furnace controls are. The owners manual says that this message could be caused by A) heat sensor out of range (an option for some models, which I don't have) or B) an open circuit. Since I don't have the option, what is an open circuit?

I have a 2014 Cougar HC 337FLS.

Thanks for the help.

For simplicity sake, an open circuit is like a 120v wall plug in your house with nothing plugged into it.

If the error message is in fact about an open circuit, you would need to find where two wires should be connected but the connection has come apart or a jumper has come off.

Thanks Larry,
So I need to check all my 120v wall plugs or should I be looking for something else?

If I recall correctly from a previous post, the E4 error was a communication error between the thermostat and the roof AC unit. Think it was the control wires between the wall thermostat and the roof unit where the wires had come off the roof unit. Access to wires from inside. May want to do a search say on AC ERROR or E4
