Mounting TV
When we got our used Springer 311BHS it didn't have a TV in the living room / bedroom panel that swivels. The mounting bracket was also kept by the previous owners. I would like to mount a new bracket and TV.
The swivel panel has a mirror on one side. I'm wondering how much clearance is between the wood panel the mounting bracket connects to and the mirror. I don't want to screw in a new mounting bracket and go through the mirror. Do you have to remove the mirror on the opposite side first?
Also, it took me a while to find the power plug for that area. There is no electrical outlet on that wall, there is a panel in the bedroom that you need to remove (unscrew) to access the electrical outlet. This means that the power for the TV needs to run through the point where the swivel is inside the wall to plug into the outlet. Of course this means the power cord must be small enough for one end to pass through the swivel. Seems like a really awkward design.
In the bunk house the outlets is mounted on the inside top of the entertainment center, that make sense but the main one seems odd.
