Inverter Outlets Not Working

I am very new in the RV world, not so new in the electrical one. We have a brand new Cougar 5th wheel 355FBS with the 400 watt solar system. The Inverter Outlets stopped working. When I look a the display on the Xantrex Freedom 2000, it looks normal.

Is there a GFCI outlet hidden somewhere in the string after the inverter? I am yet to find a drawing that helps.

Welcome to the forum

Did the outlets work and suddenly stop? Have you checked the inverter itself?

Yes, outlets were working. Inverter looks fine. I suspect a hidden GFCI outlet, but it is hidden well.

Is there a reset on the inverter? I haven’t dealt with the new solar/inverter systems yet so I’m just guessing based on the inverters I have installed over the years.

Have you verified 12V in and 120V out?

I did not have a meter with me at the time, the inverter looked ok and the outlet breaker was not tripped. I strongly suspect a hidden GFCI outlet somewhere

Are you able to plug into shore power to test the inverter?

Yes, on shore power with the inverter in bypass mode at one point. I wish I had a meter at the time to test the output.

I am still hoping someone can tell me where a GFCI is hidden.

What all did the inverter power? Possible GFCI on the fridge. The inverter itself should have a reset button somewhere as well if I remember correctly. I guess it depends on the inverter.

The 2 outlets by the sink and the TV. The reset on the inverter is not tripped.

Well if it’s on the two outlets by the sink, they should be connected to a GFCI somewhere. Any outlet close to a water source should have one. Have you checked in the pass through or your outside outlets?

If the outlets work ok when you are on shore power then it is not a tripped GFCI outlet.
Do you have power at the inverter outlet? Did your inverter battery disconnect switch get turned off?

Thanks All!! The GFCI outlet was in the "basement" or passthrough on the passenger side. I saw a comment above that suggested that I look there.

I will have to put that in my memory bank. Glad you got it working. Wonder what made it trip.

GFCI outlets are typically located in kitchen, bathroom, outside and sometime underneath in passthrough: sometime other outlets are wired in that circuit as well. The breaker panel may have a GFCI breaker also.

Thumbs down No GFCI anywhere visible on brand new Springdale?

Hi All Brand new to this forum and so glad I found it! This 2022 Springdale 242 trailer is 2 mos old and has no visible GFCI outlet anywhere. I've been trying for 6 days to figure out why I have no power to any of the outlets. Every outlet says "Inverted Outlet" /Solar Flex and the power panel breaker says GFCI Inverted? Shoreline plugged in to a live 30 amp box (tested) and all battery operated components working. Thought I had my answer when I read the post about the GFCI outlet in the passthrough but not on mine. Been trying to get a call back from Keystone for 3 days with no luck. Did all troubleshooting steps with Power Panel manufacturer and they said "Go to Keystone"??? Doesn't there have to be a GFCI outlet or breaker switch somewhere even if all the other outlets are mapped to it? I can't even find a mention of it in the user manual! What am I missing here? Any ideas? Thx

Bathroom and outdoor outlets are pretty much guaranteed to be GFCI. Kitchen outlet near the sink is likely to be GFCI also.
