Smile Awning - Lippert Solera Replacement

Hello,

Huge unexepected storm - we have a 1 year old Keystone Cougar.
Left Idler Arm and Head broke.

We replaced it with a whole new left side Idler Arm and Head.

When attaching the 43 bolts at the very top went in o.k. The 4 other rivet
holes are now too big for new rivets.

What's a camper to do? Any ideas?

Thank you,
Chip & Carla

Rotate the cap on the roller tube, drill new holes.

Hi Chuckster!

I'm Chipster! lol

No, it's the 69' channel that hooks right up to the outside of the camping trailer.

Chuckster,

Thank you so much for sending that thread! Good suggestions but it still seems there might be some issues with the rivets.

This Forum is such a great resource ...it has been really helpful to us.
thanks again,
Chipster

Since the rivets used have 3 “wings” that expand, they will grip real tight in some fairly large holes. I use them at work v
