Yes I realize it will be heavy. I plan on either dumping very often, making a little ramp to pull onto truck, or just keep in the bed of an old ranch truck.

And yes! I already lived through a whole montana winter so I am aware of propane use. I have a 200 gal tank so that helps Just realizing that the portable waste tank will freeze in the winter, so that's not really gonna work unfortunately.
Putting tote in the back of the truck won't work!
The saying is "s##t runs downhill", unless you have some kind of pump it won't drain uphill.
If you're out in a remote area you could get a cap for your drain outlet that has a hose fitting on it & run a hose out away from the rv & drain the Grey water. In the past the state parks we went to had signs stating "our trees love your grey water!", it's soapy water, then you'd only need to tote the black.

I bought a 36 gallon poly holding tank and built a wood frame around it with handles. I carry this tank on the back wood storage box to thee camp site and then load this tank in the back of my truck bed and use a macerator pump to pump the black water or gray water into this tank and DRIVE it to the dump station. Quick simple and clean.
