Also I will add in Hawaii I’m sure there are a few dometic and norcold authorized dealers around. They use these brands in the boating community and there are probably more boats on the island then rv’s

This is the "standard beep schedule" from First Alert:

1 beep every 15 minutes: Low Battery, replace battery
3 beeps every 15 minutes: MALFUNCTIONING CO DETECTOR
5 beeps every 15 minutes: End of Life, replace unit.

The 1 beep can occur on hard wired units without an internal battery if the RV battery is low or there is a corroded/bad connection/bad ground in the wiring

The 5 beeps can occur "long before the 5 years" if the CO detector has been exposed to excess "triggering gasses". So, any ammonia cleaning products (think Windex or similar) can cause "early damage" to the detector, causing it to fail much earlier than the "5 year lifespan".

I'd suspect it's your CO detector that you're hearing when things are quiet in the trailer and you simply don't hear it during the day with all the "background noise"....
My detector went off, a couple of times. Found out the dog was sleeping too close to it. That's the fartiest dog I know.

This will sound crazy, but do you have a dog? My co2 detector was alarming during the night, and we figured out it was from our dog passing gas while lying right beside the monitor. Moved the dog bed and no more alarms. Someone on one of these forums had posted this same situation, and that is how we figured it out. Far "fetched" I know, but it was our problem.

Just curious, what did it cost to ship your camper from the main-land to Hawaii? My daughter and her family had their car transported from the main-land to Hawaii and it cost them over $2000 (if I remember right).... and that was a few years ago.

LOL I am with you. Mind blown as to why you wouldn't get it fixed.

There are no Keystone dealers in Hawaii to perform warranty repair.

The OP got the RV shipped to Hawaii, pretty sure if he/she wanted to figure it out, they could.

Doesn't have to be a Keystone repair, it just needs to be a warranty service for the fridge and with the number of boats over there I'll bet there is at least one 😉
