It's irrelevant to the issue, but just for the sake of conversation....my tunnel hull boat is far from empty in the nose. Are we talking about a catamaran?

Campy, thanks for clarifying the combo was not illegal in the sense of too many vehicles just maybe to long. Here that is a 165 dollar ticket and continue. Unless there are other issues.

Toy Hauler Option

The one option around this that I did not see; was to get a you a toy-hauler. This is what I did to get around double towing, for my motorcycle.

I have a 40’ Fuzion and it is able to have a full sized H-D touring bike inside. If you were thinking about getting a newer 5er, that could be an option.

I don't want to start a sparing match on this rig as I no longer own any piece of it, just pointing out that double towing is a very subjective idea. I had this rig measured once and the guy measuring it stopped his "rolling measure" at the back of the boat and said it was fine, include the outdrive sticking out the back and its over length. I can tell you that side by side with a big rig pulling doubles I'm shorter.
