Plumbing wall cover

What do you call this? (the plastic plate covering up the plumbing access hole)

I've tried all manner of google / amazon / camping world searches and can't seem to come up with the magic description for one of these things.

If you're wondering why I am in search of one, it's so that on the other side of the walll (around the corner and to the left of the image) I can cut a hole in the wall and install a one-way check valve in our hot water line to minimize (eliminate) the cold water blast when turning off the water during showers.

Its a wall access cover/door, but you'll likely need to go to the trailer manufacturer to get a matching one. If you don't care about matching, there are several options on amazon.

Thanks. Those all appear to be doors, I was hoping for just a simple screw-on cover (don't need access other than the one-time and don't want yet another thing to rattle around and possibly pop open)

Interesting... I still want a rectangular version (something like pictured) for the new location (more flexibility for a larger hole to get the needed work done). But if the hole that is currently being covered up is the right size, I could use one of these in the bathroom in place of the current cover. Would end up with the existing screw holes being visible but... it's near the floor in the bathroom so not a big deal.

First thing I thought of when I saw the small door pictured (hinged) was that it looks like a cat pet door. Perfect for letting mice go in and out without have to squeeze through tight spaces!

As the cover is an interior one, then the mice would already be in the camper. Ain't logic great!

If the black water pipe in the bathroom or shower drain pipe isn't sealed up real nice of the water lines to the shower/tub are pretty much open,... I have a hole where the water pipes come through the floor (RIGHT BY THE ACCESS DOOR TO MY TUB) about 8 inches wide. Hopefully the little buggers can't get past the tub but they are agile and hostile.

Last time out camping, was watching DishTV in our LazyBoy love seat recliner with two dogs (one on the floor asleep and one sitting in my wife's lap, also asleep). I had a blanket over me (chilly with the A/C on and it was after dark) and a mouse ran up my blanket, across my chest and dove over the back of the recliner. My wife screamed and looked at me and I KNEW this incident was MY FAULT (married 49 years and I know the LOOK). Anyway, when we got back, I hit all openings with the expanding foam, taped all the penetrations in the pass through, put out mouse bait, bought some sooooper sonic mice chasing thngs you plug in, sprayed the whole trailer down with stinky oil and haven't seen a sign of a mouse yet. I really hope the super duper ultra sonic mouse noise things worked (paid $30 for two) but suspect it was the stinky spray stuff. Didn't hurt plugging everything that could be plugged.

OP, open your tub/shower inspection hatch and look down at the water pipes. Can you seen daylight (this must be done while the sun is up). I could!

No, I can't see any light down there. Not sure what's below, our unit has an "enclosed" bottom. Using quotes because it's obviously not sealed well enough to keep meeses out.

Mice topic aside, I'm still looking for a source for a simple wall cover plate.

The big box stores sell the plumbing access doors. They are available with spring loaded tabs (for the one you need to remove the most) one that was pictured is a "tab" style an requires a small flat screwdriver or pocket knife to pop out. The outer frame is glued in place or at least that's what I used. They are available in multiple sizes. I believe Oatey makes them

I pulled the shower valve and put a check valve between the shower valve and hot water line. Nothing needed cut or modified, and after putting it back together appears original.
