D/C fan to my generator help

I have a high output D/C fan that I would like to put into the box I made for my generator but having a hard time finding the proper converter to do the job. Any thoughts....

no only 110 and 30 amp

OK, this thought. I assume you're using the Gen to power your rig. Doen't your rig have a 120 AC to 12 VDC converter? If so, why not run a line from the rigs 12 V side to power the fan and save yourself the cost of another converter. The other thought might be to buy a bigger/better converter for the rig and use the OEM one with you Gen. Just something to think about.

I would think the cost of a 115V fan would be cheaper than buying a converter to power a 12V fan off a generator's 115V output... 4X4 muffin fans with pretty good CFMs run under $25. Just a thought.
