I agree 100% with you John. My fiver is on a seasonal site, so the slides are out till October. After thinking about the wax idea, I was wondering why a silicone spray, oil, or a grease would not work as well? The delivery guy was trying to he helpful and proactive, but the wax is probably not the most durable way to go. I would have never thought about the cables acting as wicks for water though.....
