Portable ice maker recommendation

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good quality portable ice maker? We like to entertain and sing around the campfire. Usually ice runs out fast.

I'd like something fairly compact as counter space can be limited.

I'm from canada, so some items sold in USA May not be accessible here.

Thanks.

We bought a Emerson Portable Ice Maker from Target 5 years ago and it's still going strong. We paid $105.00 at the time, probably a little higher now.
Hope this helps.

Igloo at Walmart. The only downside to the small portables is the ice must be removed & placed in a freezer. The ice makers do not keep it frozen.

Ordered NewAir AI 100R

Hi all,

Thanks for the feedback and sorry I missed searching the forum correctly.

I decided to purchase the NewAir AI 100R. We'll see how it performs when it arrives.

Thanks!

Kitchen Chef

We bought a Kitchen Chef. It's not very portable; but it is relatively small to sit on the kitchen counter.

It holds 6 regular-sized bottles of water; it continuously makes ice until the water runs out; and it keeps the ice frozen (recycles water from melted ice).

It easily handles the needs of 2 to 4 people.

Ordered it off the internet for about $100. Great purchase - saves freezer space and a lot of trouble.
