Loss of Negative power on landing gear and rear levelers

I own a 2008 34RL Montana which I purchased in late March 2013. After coming home from a camping trip I removed the rv from the truck, but noticed their was a slight hesitation when I pushed the button to raise it. When I went to level the rv up in the driveway the landing gear motor would not move in either direction. First thing I checked was the 30a in line fuse and it checked out okay. I then tried the rear levelers but they now did not work either. I started checking wires with a multimeter and found that I had no negative on the wire going to the switch for the motor. I installed a temperary negative wire to the motor switch and it preformed flawlessly in both directions. I also now have power to the levelers. I have not been successful in finding what the original problem of losing my negative power is. Any help is appreciated.
