Seems to be pretty common. If you search here, you'll find a bunch of threads all with the same complaint.
I'm always mystified that rigs get out of the dealerships with this problem. I guess I should not be given all the dealer issues that people report here.
If I got a rig like that, I'd be writing two letters: one to the dealer and another to Keystone.

Not a moron, just a prankster. It happens so often that you'd think it was planned.
Do all dealerships have dump stations?

My guess is that it is someone from Forest River who has infiltrated Keystone and is out to sabotage them.

My Cougar has two gray tanks. One is several feet to the right of the dump gate and is 1.5". That one is very obvious that it's a gray tank. The other gray tank is several feet to the left of the dump gate next to the black tank. They are plumbed together with their respective valves above the coroplast belly pan and the only thing visible is the 3" drain line to the dump gate. In that case, there's no way to eyeball the drain line out of either tank to know for sure which is which.
I suspect most of the mis-labeled tanks are like this where you can't see the individual drain lines to figure out which handle actuates which valve.
I still say "PHOOEY!" on the dealer for letting this slip through to the customer.

We have three tanks, two gray water, one for bathroom shower and sink and one for galley, there are two in the same compartment one clearly labled BLACK on the left and one GRAY on the right. lucky for me I had to use an hose extension this weekend so I used my clear tube between the hoses, and that is how I disscovered the screwup. I did feel better seeing that so many others have the same problem. I am so dissapointed with my the quality of my new $88,000 luxury fifth wheel, put a paper plate with two over easy eggs on the wood dinnette table with a placemat and it left a huge white mark on the table, if you put anything on the corian counter tops it scratches the hell out of it. I have had seven campers and four motorhomes one even a luxury diesel pusher and I have come to realize that they are all built like crap, no matter how much you spend. but we love to camp and travel so we just deal with it,

RICNTONI,
Welcome to the forum and to Keystone. As you just stated, even the luxury RV's have issues. Come to think of it, I have never gone into a Prevost, Newell or Monaco dealership and seen the service techs sitting around buffing their fingernails. They seem to be as busy as the techs at Keystone and Forest River service departments. Must mean something about the quality of expensive RV's to see that they're busy too, eh? LOL
