Alpine Hitch Assist back up mirror w/ lights
Does anyone know how to turn on the backup assist lights on the front of the Alpines? I have looked everywhere I can think of, and cannot find a switch to turn on those lights.

There is a button on your wireless remote. That's how I turn mine on my high country.

Guess that's why I cannot locate the button, we do not have a remote.

I would think the dealer should have gave you a remote to open your slides. Maybe you should contact them to find out.

On my Alpine 3250RL, the backup assist light switch is mounted in the passenger side battery compartment, on the back wall, underneath the battery switch.

Do all Alpines have the Remote Option? We don't have a remote, unless our dealer forgot to give it to us. Where is the receiver located?

LZ Scout, thanks, mine is exactly where you said it would be. We were never given a remote, not even for the keyless entry. I think it must be an option on the Montana and not on the Alpines.

I thought it was standard (remote) for the newer 5th wheel I could be wrong. It still doesn't hurt to call your dealer and find out for sure. Also glad you found the switch to turn it on.

I have an Avalanche, not an Alpine but mine is located in the same place as LZScout's.

Alpine light switch
If you open the hatch where the switch is to raise and lower the landing gear, you will see the light switch. I had to look for mine too!
