Tavel Journals

Does anyone keep travel journals? Which ones are the best? Are there any links to templates for RV'ing journals?

Want to keep one. I would like to see what you guys are using.

My wife started a blog when we were full-time and tried a couple different one's but the upkeep just wore her down. She finally dropped the blog, got an old fashioned note pad and just jotted down ideas, comments, and such in long hand. She figures that at some time in life she will get those notebooks out and make order out of them.

We do not keep travel journals as such. What we do keep track of are campsites, campgrounds and mileage along with the cost of the trip. We also make notes as to the campground if we would go back or not. These are kept in a paper bound book and an excel spread sheet, on my main frame computer at home.

I do the same. Keep an excel spreadsheet with campgrounds, travel dates, mileage, repairs, tires, etc.

We use Microsoft Office One Note to keep our logs. With this program you can create charts, add pictures, web site links, etc.. You can sort everything by using tabs, it makes it really easy to find a past trip or specific campground. My parents full time and they used to keep logs in note books and over the years have hundreds of entries as well as several note books. They are now using the One Note and have transfered everything to this and they love the simplicity of having everything in an easy to use program.

Thanks for all the input. I never thought of using one note. Good idea!
