Towing with a range rover??

Anybody have any experience towing with a range rover? Mine is supercharged with a max towing wright of 7716 lbs. and 400 HP so there is enough power, just not sure about the short wheelbase and balance?

I would be extremely cautious towing anything with a Range Rover. The short wheelbase is your issue there. I think you'd never approach the weight limits as the only thing you could safely get away with is probably a very small trailer - like under 20'.

Not sure what you plan on towing but I wouldn't want to be towing anything but a boat with a RR. Plenty of HP doesn't translate into safe towing capacities or capabilities. The short wheelbase, as mentioned above, along with other factors would eliminate any RV towing -except perhaps a small popup.

I hope you are not considering towing the new Cougar 26BH you just bought!!!! YIKES!!!!! Don't go there!!!

HI Your Range Rover has lots of hp and torque. but that short wheel base is not ment to tow a travel trailer! a pop up may be. I am not putting the Rover down,I have an old discovery that we converted into a plow truck best dang plow I have ever used. even it the Big Noreaster 2 weeks ago 30+ inches but now way would I tow with it. Next

I suspect you will find that the payload, GVWR, and axle ratings for the RR are woefully inadequate for towing most (if not all) of the Keystone product line.

Pulling capacity does not towing capacity!
