I thought the screws were supposed to adjust the level and mine has 3 or 4 screws, not 2. I believe the idea is that this is sort of a calibration of "level". Once I leveled my unit at home and checked it inside and out with a long level I adjusted the screws on the jack level to center the bubble. Now when I get ready to disconnect my truck I can quickly check this to see if I am level right and left and then when I disconnect I can level front to back. It's not perfect, but works well enough that I don't have to get to my level and open my door(s) to see if I am level left to right before I disconnect.
