Add a room awning attachments

I recently bought a Fuzion 322 (absolutley love it), and I was looking at the add a room awning attachements. My awnings are so high up (since the 5th wheel is so tall), how do they touch the ground? Do I have to buy extensions for it? Do I have to lower my awning so that it works?

Also, for anyone that has one, do you recommend a brand/type?
