Dishwasher

Have the DEHCO DSS-WQP6-3305-US Dishwasher in my 2017 Apline 3651 RL 5th Wheel.
Worked great the last 3 years. This year when I turn it on, after about 2 minutes I get a Code : E1 - Meaning: Longer inlet time. Possible Causes. Faucets is not open, or water intake is restricted, or water pressure is too low.

Nothing wrong with water pressure in the whole RV.
Faucets all work in the whole RV.
Haven't even moved the RV as it is permanently installed in a Seasonal RV Park so I don't know how the "water intake" could be restricted. Worked the last 3 years.

Help. Thanks.

It's probably an issue with freeze damage to the inlet valve. If it was not properly winterized and the water left in the valve froze, it may have bent or deformed the valve and it won't "slide easily" (won't open properly) causing a restricted water level and triggering the error code.

I have just experienced the same problem and would love a solution here in the UK. My unit does take in water but then stops with E1 indicated before it even opens the tablet draw? Would love some advice on simple steps to rectify this issue as parts here in the UK are near impossible to source?

It could be sediment blocking the water inlet on the dishwasher. I see screens clog on toilets all the time, your dishwasher may have a screen too.

Not particularly helpful in this situation, but I found an online manual for this model:

https://www.refsta.com/fileadmin/use...ngen/GS438.pdf

Makes me wish I had one. Hand washing dishes is among my least favorite things.

Don't let your current dishwasher read this or you'll be getting a new one that can wear your shoes, shirts & pants.

Our dishwashing needs are primarily cooking implements. We grill alot, use paper plates and disposable forks & spoons. Dishes get washed by me when she cooks as I feel like it's the least I xan do since she did the cooking. At home, no disposables and we have a gal Jenn that washes up, yup, JennAir does a fine job.

1990 was only 31 years ago, I do know my wedding date was June 3, 2000.

Since I can’t remember the exact YEAR we got together, I thought it was ok to say 199?…

A fair comment, But the thing I don't understand is it pulls in loads of water, heats it to steaming, this is about an hour into the cycle then I think when the dispenser door is due to open it just stops, beeps for ages and displays "E1"
