230 bhs

Looking at a Bullet 2014 230 BHS. Wanted to know what owners of this coach think??
Also anything to look out for. The travel trailer is a new 2014 model.

Thanks in advance!

We have a Premier and friends have a Bullet, nice trailers. Seemed to be made well so far.

Howdy! This is our first Keystone, a 230bhs and we are really pleased with it. We pull with a 5.7L Tundra and it has no trouble pulling it up and down the mountains of Virginia.

It's big enough, but not so big that we will have trouble fitting in the state park camping sites. (Also, when we go to blue grass festivals, there is a 'premium charge' for TT > 30 feet. I will admit, that's a rather unique problem.)

It has more storage than we know what to do with.

Given my druthers, I wish I had waited and gotten the 2015 model. The 2014's have a curved dinette seat. If I really wanted to put a access door in the dinette seat, it would be a challenge.

But---it has so much storage, why would I even consider that...?

Haven't found a problem with it yet.

Is the under belly actually enclosed with abs or is it just a wrap and insulation?
Looks like I am close to making this deal.

Bulletman -
Most Keystone underbellies are enclosed with coroplast, a black plastic-like sheeting about 1/4" thick. It is fastened to the frame with self-taping metal screws and glued at the front and down the sides for a short length. There may be some loose fiberglass batting insulation thrown in but there is nothing common or standard about where it ends up or the quantity.

Folks have found all sorts of other "stuff" in the underbelly: left-over construction debris, cans and bottles, and workers' lunch bags. As yet, no one has reported finding any money - at least they haven't told forum members of their find.

Lol. Thanks for your great reply. Have a deal in place and will most likely be camping next week in our new bullet.

Can anyone tell me how wide the dinette is on the 230 bhs? I see it is 80 inches long but how deep front to back?
Thanks

Its an 80 by 30 slide.
DW and I are very happy with our 230BHS. We purchased a 2014 last August, and so far I think we have about 23 nights in it, so far so good.

Hi there, I also purchased the 2014 bullet 230bhs in 2014 and we are now experiencing an extreme 'squishy' floor. I've read posts about how the laminate floors of ultra lites often flex and detach from sections of the aluminum; have you experienced this? We are likely going to sell but want to get this fixed first and I'm not finding any definitive fixes (and associated costs) on these threads. Any comments or advice would be very appreciated! Thanks, and happy camping!!

Our 2010 model has the same issue and we feared a leak. Tore it apart and absolutely nothing 'wrong'. Supports are just too far apart and flex with lots of use. You happy with the bullet?
