Patio Steps!!!

Was at the Virginia Beach RV show Sunday, there was a Raptor there and outside of it they had a brochure pasted up on poster board. I almost walked past it but something caught my eye. I turned around and sure enough one page had a big photo of a Raptor with a patio with steps down the rear. I took photos of the brochure and called my dealer Monday. He looked into it and said I could have them for $450. The steps were listed as part of the patio option (like the railing and awning), not a separate option unto themselves. I'm disappointed mine didn't come with them since I just ordered it in Dec but at least it looks like I can add them. It would also involve changing out the rear railings to accommodate the steps, but that looked simple enough, assuming the new railing panels come with the steps.

It's funny, everybody I've showed the rig to so far has said, so where are the steps???

I'll try to post a picture later.

For some reason I can't figure how to post the original (larger) size image.

SWEET, we have a friend with a 375Monster, and they dont have the patio option. they use the back to haul a golfcart and then as a extra bedroom for the kids.
but that is very cool

I have a 415TS on order that is scheduled to come off the line on Feb 14th. The rep I've been dealing with at Keystone said all the raptors coming off the line will have them.

We just upgraded our 360 TE III to a 390 chrome and specifically asked for them not to include those steps. My wife and I actually like that the deck is private (You have to enter it from the RV) and the added weight on the edge of the deck cant be good.

Patio steps price

I had our dealer check with Keystone on the price for the patio steps for our 2013 384PK. The price with the steps and patio enclosure was (wait till you see this price) $ 1,650 with $ 312.00 for shipping. Not going to tell you what I thought about that. Someone else on one of the forums asked about replacing the bench or the thing that Keystone calls a couch with the 2014 couch/recliner. I priced that at $1,300 from Keystone. They sure know the value of happy customers.

Yeah, well, I won't go into the pricing thing, but here's a heads up for anyone. If your dealer will work with you like mine and you want to order something large, you can save on the shipping by having them put it in a toyhauler coming to your dealer. No shipping charge.
