I am thinking of changing TV to the above title and was curious what kinda of gas mileage anyone pulling with one of these is getting when towing and not towing. Also let me know if your using gas or diesal.

So far our 2009 GMC 2500HD w/ duramax diesel averages 20-23 hwy mpg, but add the TT behind it & we average 10-15, a few more trips out will give us a better feel for mpg pulling the TT.

i have a 2010 GMC 2500HD with the 6.0 gas, get about 13 MPG in the winter, mixed driving, about 15MPG in the summer. Towing an 8000 lb travel trailer thru the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee I got about 8 mpg, flat terrain I can get about 10 MPG towing.

2004 Duarmax/Allison with approx 72,000 miles get 20-22 highway, used to get approx 10.5 towing with last fiver, now getting approx 9.5 with new toy hauler. It's big, heavy and wide.

My truck in signature gets 12 every day mixed driving, maybe 14 hwy doing 72. Towing varies between 6 and 9 with 12k fiver depending on wind, terrain, speed, etc.

2011 Duramax- 13-15 city, 21 hwy, 11-13 towing. The towing doesn't change regardless if I am pulling my 4,500 lb ATV trailer, 7,000 lb car trailer, or 13,000 lb RV

2012 2500 HD Duramax/Allison Z71 CC, get 22 mpg at interstate speeds unloaded, and when towing the 5th wheel, a little over 15,000 lbs, we get 9 to 13, give or take, depending on the terrain. Wouldn't even consider trying to tow this trailer without diesel.
