New guy from Florida

Hello all. We own a Cabana Hybrid and have really enjoyed the experience. Now I am in the process of repairing the BW tank and replacing the wood and support cable for both bunks. Any experience that could be shared is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. It sounds as if you have an interesting project ahead of you. You may find other Cabana owners in the "Lite weight trailer" section of the forum or use the search function to look for similar problems. When you do start your project try to take lots of photos and post them to perhaps help someone else in the future. Welcome and travel safely, Hank

Camping Locations Northern Florida

Do you have any suggestions for campground locations in northern Florida - preferably on the beach or a nice lake/river?

Hi Jim-

Hanna Park (Mayport, FL) is a great state park to visit. It has a lake for fishing/kayaking, plenty of white sandy beaches, and tons of mounting bike trails and hiking trails. Some of the lots can be tight or uneven, but these are some of my favorites: 269, 271, 272, 273, 274, 275, 175.

Also, Flamingo Lake Resort (Jacksonville, FL) is a perfect family oriented campground if you are looking for a swimming lake.

Enjoy!

Thanks a Bunch!

I'm going to research your recommendations for sure.

We want to go somewhere in northern Florida over spring break - my wife is a teacher.

Thanks Again!

Welcome from another Floridian. We are in Salt Springs as I type for a week. Full hook ups and nice sites. This is a nice place and has a nice spring and lake you can boat in. North Beach campground in Vilano Beach is nice also.
