Keystone 26RBSWE 2nd AC Unit QUIET!

Our TT came prewired for the electrical and roof vent opening for a 2nd AC in the bedroom. While the Dometic Brisk Air II did a good job of cooling the main room, including the slide-out, the noise is irritating. After much research, I bought a Coleman Mach 10 NDQ.

The unit is available both ducted and non-ducted - the Q stands for Quiet. It is wonderful! We can turn the unit on auto for the bedroom and when the AC turns on it doesn't wake us up. The air handler is available in two configurations. Manual or Digital w/Bluetooth. The Bluetooth is nice, but it needs to repaired with your phone after moving the trailer. It is also about 2.5X the cost. For $60 we added a 600W heat stip inside the air handler to warm the bedroom up in a hurry. You can also hook the air handler up to a wired thermostat at an additional cost.

It can be a do-it-yourself job. We paid a local company $600 for the install. If you spend a lot of time in your unit or if the loud Dometic units drives you crazy, I highly recommend the Coleman Mach 10. Just make sure you get the Quiet series. Naturally, now that it is warming up the Coleman units are getting hard to find.

Good info, thanks for the review. We have the same TT. Did you connect the 2nd air conditioner to the InCommand system, or did you keep it as an ordinary stand-alone setup?
