Trekwood uses a "dead drop box" on their "return status emails"... The only way I know to correspond with them is to use the "contact us" link on their webpage https://www.trekwood.com/contact or to call them 866.880.8735

If you do "recontact them using the link" be sure to include their last message to you or it's like "starting over from the beginning every time"....

Frustrating ??? Heck yeah, but that's Trekwood.

Normally if something is wrong that kind of message hits my email and doesn't come from theirs, tells me my email was not delivered... Sounds like they might be having a glitch of sorts on their end...
I'd go back onto their website and try going thru the motions again.. they might have their server fixed... jmho

Shipping Quote

Thank you Sarge2 and JRTJH.

This is the statement at the bottom of the "we got your message and will get back to you with a shipping quote" page:

"This email sent automatically by trekwood.com. If you have any questions or technical difficulties, please respond to this email address."

I would assume that meant I could simply reply to the email they sent but you know what happens when you assume.....

Sounds like the best option. If I don't find a lampshade soon I'll give them a call.

It should be about three inches diameter and five inches tall. Doesn't have to be the original but almost anything is better than nothing.

There are a million clip on type lamp shades out there but we need the washer top that screws in beneath the finial.

Thank you so much,

I just replaced those lights and burned the shades last week. I might still have one floating around, but it will be a few weeks until I get back out to the trailer.

That would be great and thank you. We don't need it immediately.

I've used fenchelshades.com recently. If they don't have your size and style in stock, they'll make it custom, to your specs. I just ordered a pair of very tall, very "dropped" shades for a pair of early '70s deco lamps, like nothing anyone has in stock, and they were perfect.

Thank you very much. Their selection is massive!

Might be easier and cheaper in the long run to just try Lowe's/HomeDepot or other lighting store and getting a new lamp with the shade included.

Doubt you'd find ANY 12 volt lamp choices at those home improvement stores, they'll all be 110 volt.
If just replacing the fixture I'm sure you could find several 12 volt lamp choices online somewhere besides Trekwood & cheaper shipping.

If you do a search on the net, all kinds of custom shade vendors comes up. I'm betting you will not find an old shade exactly like you are looking for. Either just buy a couple new fixtures that will come with shades or get hold of one of the custom shade companies. Just a few that I came across:

Don't really care about the fixture, just the shade.

No such luck there anyway, everything is clip-on.

Lots of choices but most are more than we were looking to spend.

Fortunately it's not something we need ASAP. We don't live in the trailer and there is plenty of other lighting.

FYI, still no reply from Trekwood.

We found a few lampshades that should fit at second hand stores for .99 each. We'll see how they work
