I only use a 10,000 watt to run my whole house when the power is out. 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer, electric hot water tank, electric water pump, furnace blower, electric stove (3 out of 4 burners), 2 computers and 2 flatcreen TV's.

Just for "what it's worth".....

I have 2 Cummins Onan P4500i inverter generators I run in parallel. With both of them in parallel, I can run absolutely everything in my camper, EXACTLY as if I were plugged into 50 amp shore power service. Exactly. I can run the washing machine and dryer, the electric fire place, the microwave, and both AC's, a toaster, and an electric griddle. Now, If I exceed the 50 amps (add a second flat griddle and the electric skillet), and it pops the main 50 amp breaker (IN THE CAMPER) .... same as it would if connected to shore power. It all exceeded the 50 amp (thing) limit.

So, if you are looking for a good generator that will do it all, is still portable, VERY quiet .... even when running both at the the same time, this one is a very, very, very good set to have.

Also, the Westinghouse 4500 inverter is an identical looking one to the Onan 4500, except for the color of the cover. It's been said the two are completely identical. However, I do not know that or believe that personally. Even John Deere looks the same, but those purchased in home improvement stores are different than the ones purchased at the actual John Deere stores (They are manufactured in different locations and the ones in big box stores use inferior parts and metals, compared to the ones sold at an actual "Deere" store.... that's how the big box stores sell them cheaper.) .... Wanna guess WHERE the big box ones are manufactured and shipped from?

Anyway, I have 2 of the Onan's P4500i's I've been successfully using for about 3 years now and I've not a single ounce of problems with either one of them.

Besides, when we have power outages at home, it's nice having the 2 generators separate, I can run wires all over the house and keep everything running (except the 220 volt water pump because our house is on it's own well)

Here's an old photo, but absolutely nothing has changed:
