Solar and generator

Probably asked and answered before but anyway...
I just installed solar to my rig which also has a built in generator. Can I run generator (for AC) while sun is out and batteries are being charged by solar controller?
Controller is wired direct to battery bank.
Forgive my ignorance, and thanks in advance.

I can’t speak to the brand, quality, and specs of the parts you used or whether or not you wired and installed everything correctly, but in theory and assuming everything is done right, the two systems can play together nicely without conflict.
