New guy here, hello!
Happy to have this resource and thank you all in advance for the assistance I am sure I will need from time to time. I have had travel trailers for about 15 years now. Started with a little 17' trailer pulled with a Toyota Tacoma. Decided as I aged that crawling over each other to get in and out of the bed was getting old.

So we bought a 24' Hideout and loved it for many years. I was pulling it with a half-ton GMC and it handled it but I knew that we eventually wanted to get into a fifth-wheel, so last August I bought my forever truck with the bells and whistles I have never had before. Found a used (new to me) 2018 Chevrolet 3500HD (heated seats, ahhhhh yessssss) and never looked back. That girl pulled our little 24 footer like it wasn't even there. Just last week we found a used 2017 Cougar 327RES and my wife fell in love with it immediately so here we go. First time fifth-wheel and we hope to travel the country in style now.

We followed a similar route. Started out with a tent, next to truck camper, then a travel trailer, now a 5th wheel.
