Connecticut is a very "hostile" weather location for full timing in a fifth wheel. Add two children at home full time and a husband that will likely deploy, leaving you alone to maintain the trailer while he's away, and just keeping the propane tanks full will be a hassle.
You're going to face some weather conditions that will test your ability to "keep the adventure in the right perspective"... Between the poor insulation in travel trailers, the single pane windows, 35,000 BTU furnace and a "propane refrigerator" that stops working properly when the temperature behind it gets below freezing and you're going to learn to either "love RVing completely" or "bail for the nearest motel for the rest of the winter"....
I'm not trying to snuff your enthusiasm for RVing, but the reality of living in an RV full time in Connecticut in the winter is a daunting experience. I'd suspect that spring, summer and fall would be AWESOME, but winter..... not nearly as much fun or adventure as the more moderate seasons....
Welcome to the forum and I'd urge you to spend some time researching past threads about winter camping in Keystone RV's.... There's some "eye opening discussions awaiting your reading pleasure".....
