New Minnesota Cougar Owner
Hi everyone ... actually I will be picking up my new 2019 Cougar 22RBS later this week. Very excited to be joining the ranks here. Did an enormous amount of research before choosing this unit. I’ll be towing it with a 2019 5.7L Tundra double cab. Retired in December, sold my house last week and plan to be more or less full time in the trailer for about a year as I set out across the country. This going to be fun.

Here she is ... busy getting the rig set up now. Spent last night in it. Couldn’t be happier with my Cougar!

Folks ... any suggestions on a generator that will run my Dometic 15,000 btu A/C unit? Do you recommend a single larger generator or two smaller units in parallel? I want quiet running and when the A/C is running I will likely not plan to run other appliances. Thanks in advance!

Whatever it takes to get 3500W minimum. A pair of 2000W will yield about 3700W.

Two Honda 2000s parallel will work nice with one AC and still have headroom for converter, TV, etc. lighter weight, low fuel consumption , and when not needing AC one will do quite nicely

Or dual Yamahas
Great article in trailer life about Enegizer Generators used together. They were different wattage which was new to me
Also, congrats
