New CA Bullet owner

Wife and I picked up a 2019 Bullet 287QBS. While we both grew up camping in RV’s, this is our first travel trailer. We have a toddler so the back room was a huge selling point for us, and the local dealer losing their Keystone dealers contract made the deal too good to pass up.

We are planning to pick it up next week sometime, and I have printed two copies of the checklist that I found on these forums.

Tow vehicle is a Toyota Tundra, with the intention of moving into a Ford F-250 next year.

Excited to be a part of the group, and thanks in advance for the help we’ll definitely solicit in the future!

Welcome from Pennsylvania! After you tow that trailer with the Tundra you might be making the upgrade to the 250 the next day!

Thanks for joining the forum - glad to have you. Beautiful looking rig. I expect your toddler will grow up with many fine RVing family memories.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new trailer. Enjoy your new camping hobby! As Gegrad stated, you might be looking for the new TV sooner than you think. It happened to us with our Bullet. Happy trails.

At the thought of being redundant, please do not think that your rig will come from the factory ready to roll. If something is not right, put on the list and have it fixed BEFORE you plunk down your money. I believe that things get corrected faster that way and you won't spend a year or 2 hauling your home away from home back to the shop.
YMMV]

I’m assuming there will be a list for the dealer to fix prior to picking up. A few coworkers who have purchased their coaches from this dealer said they address everything in a timely manner, but definitely a good point to raise! Thank you!

Since that was well received, might I also suggest you "try it out" right away. You can "boondock" at home, but I would full hook up at either HB or Crystal Cove for a few days to make sure things work as advertised long before taking the family on a memory making trip to... and this is just one of my favorites, Rincon Beach.
