TV jumper cable

First RV bought last Fall is a 2011 Cougar 26RBS X-lite.

Can anyone tell me the purpose/ function of this jumper cable behind the main television?
It does not seem to affect the tv outlet in the bedroom.

Thanks!

I think that's where you would connect a satellite box if you had a satellite TV antenna.

I have the same jumper in my camper except mine is vertical. If I am in a campground with cable the jumper has to be in place to watch it. If I bring my satellite, I connect the SAT box to the bottom connection in the trailer and the dish to the coax connection outside the trailer.

On mine, one side is to attach satellite to that TV. If you put the jumper on it will direct satellite to the outdoor TV satellite connection.
