Angry Furrion 3100dv

I have attempted to have my TV(Summit 50") send audio to my Furrion so as to be played through the internal trailer speakers. The Furrion has a RWY cable to the tv. There is also a cable from the tv audio out to the Furrion audio in. I am beginning to believe that it is a matter of the correct setting on the Furrion. I have additional cables that came with the unit.

If you are connected via an HDMI cable you don't need to run a sound cable also. If you aren't using an HDMI you should try that first. I have the DV3200 and also have a blue ray player connected so I run the red and white RCA cables from the TV to the Aux inputs on the back of the Furrion and play sound that way when running the blueray.

I have a red and white cable going from tv audio out to furrion audio input. What source should I use on the furrion. My furion has no HDMI input.

I could never get the audio to play over the internal speakers through the head unit. I ended up buying a soundbar and connected it to the TV with an HDMI cable. Works great and sounds better than the cheap speakers in the ceiling.

Have you pulled the unit from the wall to check the connectors on the back and side? I found this wiring diagram and it doesn't mention any HDMI so you might be stuck with analog. Is yours wired like the attachment with the red/white RCA cables from the TV sound Output going to the marked Input? Just checking...

I assume you have a manual for the Furrion. If not you can get it HERE

As an alternative you might consider switching to the DV3300. Furrion's AV stuff isn't the best quality to begin with but it should fit in the same hole as the 3100 and allow you to use HDMI.

Mine had an extra set of RCA cables in a bag with the manuals. I had to pull the unit out of the cabinet and connect the extra cables. Now it plays through the speakers in the ceiling.
