Fuzion 371 - 7,000# axles and a GVWR 16.5???
So if you have 7,000 lbs. axles and 2 of them ... that 14000 lbs. How does that equal up to the GVWR of 16,500? Am I missing something to this?

You are missing the 5th wheel pin weight, Your trailer will have about 2,600 - 3,000 # of pin weight. Add the axle weights and pin weight and you come up with your GVWR

And all I know is that with both tanks full of fuel in the back and a tank full of fresh water and a 2500HD Chev full of fuel and 4 people in the truck but motorcycle not even in the trailer yet I was CAT scaled out at 25 025 lbs which was already over a thousand pounds beyond the trucks maximum load. So this caused me to have to buy a 1 ton truck.

I use a 1 ton (SRW) with smaller Fuzion 325 and RZR or Cart in the back - and I am slightly over too! Can't imagine a 3/4 ton must be way over...

Many 3/4-ton owners go by the 1-ton numbers, because in many cases they are the same truck.

No they aren't. Not going to argue, but ANY brand you want, put a 3/4 and 1 ton next to each other. Read the data tags and tell me they have the same numbers.

X2. Traded a 6 month old F250 on an F350 as the payload on the F250 was 2447#, about 1000# less than the pin weight of the new 5er.

Totally agree...
The manufacture specs don't lie. Not sure why people think they're the same rig. Case and point - from the Ford specification:
F250 rear axle - Ford Sterling 6200# rating
F350 (SRW) rear axle - Ford Sterling 7280# rating
F350 (DRW) rear axle - Dana Model 80 9650# rating
Reference
That has nothing to do with the springs/wheels/tires, that's the manufacture specs per rear axle type used in 3/4 & 1 ton rigs.

I never bought F250 trucks even before I owned a 5er. I always buy F350s even as a daily driver. Much different!!!

For the past several years, the F250 and F350 SRW has had identical rear ends.
