Trim on Outside of Laredo

During my inspection of my trailer today, I noticed that the white molding that runs around the trailer was coming away from the trailer between the door and the outdoor kitchen. Its weird because the chalking is still in place on the top of the trim and the seams are still together, but it looks like its peeling up the side of the trailer (pulling what's seems to be a protective coating away from the trailer?) (See attached photos). Weird. My first thought was to cut the part that was peeling and then re-chalk the trim. I can't figure out if its pulling on the sticker or what.

Has anyone ran into this problem before?

Thanks.

It looks the same stuff on mine, its technically a cover. There is a u shaped metal channel under neath of it that is screwed to the TT. So it must be popping off, try pushing it back on. You could take it off and put it back on then recaulk it. Almost snaps on and off. There could be a screw pushing it off. May need further investigation.

I've got a spot like that on my Cougar, except the caulking has pulled loose.

Glad to hear that its not a major issue. I might just run it over to the dealer, since I haven't had it a year yet.

Thank you.

If it's still in warranty and the dealership is not too far away, by all means you should let the dealership repair it (or at least provide the parts). I've found that "little items" like molding, special adapters that look simple and cheap, window cranks, interior strip moldings, etc usually cost 3 or 4 times more at an RV supplier. If you can find the item at Lowe's or HD, it's almost guaranteed to be cheaper, but things like the molding you need are RV specific and you can bet it's definitely overpriced and you won't find it for a buck a foot anywhere
