175LHS a/c

Hello, I have a Keystone hideout 175 LHS. I have the window unit type A/C PD 8000 btu. Does anyone know if I can install a bigger unit ? It is struggling in the Texas heat.
Thank you

I have the same unit, and we just went camping for 4 days at the races in 96 degree heat. Ours seemed to cool fine. We were running off a Honda EU2000i generator, but we had a small fan going besides. Hopefully one of the techs here can help you out.

Clean filter is essential in the smaller units. That and recirculating not fresh if that is an option. Your biggest concern is going to be the physical dimensions of the replacement unit, If you can find another one with higher capacity, check the amp draw. If the same then your golden.

Did you ever find a replacement unit that fit?
