Dead Battery on TT

I have a 2017 Passport Elite 19RB and I have noticed that my battery "dies" after about two weeks of inactivity. So far not really an issue since I can attach power to my TV to get the rig hitched. The only power use that I can tell is the standby mode on the radio/cd/dvd player although now that I am thinking about it my TV may not be unplugged either.

My question is: Is this normal? Every battery will die if it sits long enough but I would think two weeks is not an issue.

Thanks for the help!!

Re: Dead Battery on TT

You have to add a true battery disconnect to completely shut down the power draw.

Re: Dead Battery on TT

I plug mine in so the battery stays charged but if you cannot then there is use on the battery. Many will install a battery disconnect at the battery so the battery will not die. The radio, the CO2, probably a few other things drain it within a week or two.

Battery disconnect. Who knew? Makes sense though and thank you all very much!
