Remove TV from 2007 3400RL Montanna?

I know this is simple but I have not figured this out yet. Can anyone explain to me how to remove a TV that is mounted securely in the wall or entertainment area just above the Dimplex Electric Fireplace?

Welcome to the forum

Most TV mounts are two pieces. There is a plate that mounts to the tv and another one that mounts to the wall. depending on the style used in your coach there may be a latch at the bottom edge of the bracket, or screws on the sides of the brackets. It can be a daunting task to look, but a mirror and flashlight are your friend here.

Thanks Chuckster for the quick reply...............my TV is recessed into the entertainment cabinet. It's like the cabinet was built aroung TV....lots of laughs. It's simple but yet to figure it out.

Look inside the cabinets on either side, is there a panel that can be removed?

2007 was not built for a flat screen tv. Your tv, if flat screen, was added after-market. If you can feel around on the sides or bottom for some form of latch (like Chuck mentioned) that should release and allow you to tilt the bottom out and then lift up. Good luck and keep us posted so it may help someone else, Hank

You are saying that it is not a flat screen???? If it is not it should be attached to bottom of the cabinet. you may need to access from underneath by removing trim from fireplace. This is just a guess but may be worth a peek.

Thats probably right. You will need to remove the "surround" on the fireplace to access the mounting screws. If your fireplace is like most I've seen, the surround lifts off.
