Getting bleach into your fresh water tank and not your pants
Since many are prepping their campers i thought id share this tip, I've been doing this for a while. When trying to pour bleach for sanitizing into the gravity fill I invariably put at least a quarter of it on the ground. Measuring cup, funnel, small soda (pop) bottle which still needed measuring cup and funnel were all tricky.
Then I spied my wife's gravy separator measuring cup. With the spout starting at the bottom of the cup pouring bleach became a no mess job. You can tip it enough to pour but not shoot half the contents at once to the fill hole!

I just use a $2 hose funnel from Harbor Freight (or maybe it was Tractor Supply) ...
On a trailer without a gravity fill, I use the funnel to fill a 25' hose and then use the spigot water pressure to push the Clorox into the tank. Do it quickly, straight Clorox will damage the "hose innerds" if you let it sit for very long.....

You guys are making it too simple!! I just take the bleach bottle with a short stiff funnel and place it in the gravity fill. I doesn't work real well and a good bit sort of spits and splashes....on the ground, and me. I've got it down pretty well now so that when I'm done I just set the pants and shirt aside and wait. In a couple of days it's just like 1970 again with bleach spots all over my blue jeans and T shirt. You can't beat it; sanitize the tank and get a new set of duds at the same time!!

Delicious!
At normal bottle concentrations it rinses off easily with hot water. Plus it's never sitting in the cup for more than a couple of minutes.

I have an old plastic kids cup that I have permanently marked for bleach. I keep it in the camper with my other water tools.
Then this trick serves 2 purposes, I had an new extra short hose like for a washing machine connection. Cut one end to have about 12-16". I can use it like a flexible funnel and slowly pour the bleach in thru the hose end fitting. Only about 1 cup so not to bad.
Know I also put a shut off on it and hook it to the hose to fill the freshwater tank. Since its 12-16" long and stick it down the fill pipe, leverage know holds it, it know becomes a hands free operation and I cant slow it down with the shutoff. Off to do other things like check lug nuts and fill with beer.
I super sanitize 2 a year, but being on a well at home. I may add a cap/splash of bleach most of the time. We don't drink the freshwater anyways.
