Rear bumper wieght limit ?

Anyone know the wieght limit on a 1890fl summerland rear bumper ? Would like to add a storage trunk.

If it were me, I wouldn't add extra weight, including a storage trunk, to any RV bumper without first reinforcing it either by welding or bolted additional supports to the frame. The bumpers are flimsy at best and I wouldn't trust them to safely carry anything more than a spare tire.

Some members have added bike racks and generator "boxes" and their threads/posts can be found by using the forum's search feature. Some of these threads also have photos and detailed descriptions of what they did to accommodate the racks and boxes.

In answer to your question, I don't know the weight limit.

I don't think you will find a weight limit listed anywhere for a rear bumper. As mentioned before, they are flimsy. I will go out on a limb and say they will definitely hold the weight of your sewer hose since they are designed for that. If you look at the gauge of metal used in them, you will see they are not designed to hold much.
